👋🏼 Hi! I’m Xin (pronounced like ‘sing’).

I’m a Chinese-American artist-designer based in London. My background is a mixture of environmental psychology, spatial experience design, and design strategy. I am fascinated by the way humans sense and feel, and how our behaviors and interactions are impacted by tangible environments and intangible atmospheres. I studied Design & Environmental Analysis at Cornell and then did my Master's in a program with a even more vague name, Global Innovation Design (in Royal College of Art and Imperial College London).

Lately, I find myself thinking a lot about phygital media, immersive experiences, the human condition, subjective realities and collective futures. I work with JJ Agcaoili at Many Projects Studio to tinker some of these ruminations into creative outputs through some form of art-design-engineering.

In my free time, I boulder in East London, take dance classes, sing with a local community choir, occasionally bake, and make things with my hands (needle felting is my latest new hobby).
